Research Finds YOU!
Google Related is an interesting little add-on to use. As an extension for Google Chrome, Google Related changes the capabilities of the browser in pretty useful ways. Whether you use one of the Chrome laptops or just use the Chrome browser, this extension gives you the ability to have research find you, rather than doing it yourself.
Basically, this extension gives you relevant information for whatever you’re viewing. It doesn’t matter what it is, either. Say you were looking at buying one of the Google laptops known as Chromebooks, you’d want to know how people think about it, right? Well, with Google Related, all you have to do is look for a Chromebook online somewhere and Google Related will find as much information on it as it can. Whether its the reviews the Chrome laptop received or information on where you can buy it, Google related will find it for you in no time at all!
How Does It Work?
Upon installing the Google Related extension, a little bar will show itself at the bottom of the window. This is the Google Related Toolbar. Its purpose is to display things that are relevant to whatever you have up in the browser. It will look for everything from videos to news articles to maps, reviews, images, web sites and whatever else you can think of.
Also, if you’d like to see a preview of the thing that pops up, or just see more things, simply hover over the various categories given. So if you wanted to see a preview of an image or video, you’ll just need to use your mouse to hover over it, and a preview is given in a Google Related’s preview box. If it’s a video, it will be played straight from the box. So you don’t even have to go to another page to watch it! Convenient, innit?
Anyway, Google Related is available now at the Chrome Web Store, so you can get it anytime. It’s a very convenient was to do your research, so I highly recommend it, especially for lazy people. And it doesn’t matter if you have a Chromebook or you simply browse on Google Chrome using your PC, this extension will work wonders.
